Photographing movement

Photographing basketball is particularly difficult because it’s indoors and the light isn’t great, so ISO values go right up, and of course you want to keep your shutter speed pretty fast too, but bringing the shutter speed down and trying some panning can be pretty interesting but rather unsuccessful… Panning is rather trying for the kids because they get really sick of cycling up and down while I practise changing shutter speed, and getting the right pic at the right time, even on continuous, my camera is rather slow to process, so good thing we had to go to Oostende and as it was a relatively mild day, there were tons of people out cycling, and wondering what I was up to taking snaps of them, so I got some dirty looks and some successful shots….
I love the pic of the wood because it really makes me feel seasick just looking at it, it is focused by the way and taken while zooming in or out….
