I always read about the thaw, well now I am experiencing the drip drip in person, the snow melting, obviously not the loud cracks experienced in Alaska, just a gentle melting of the snow, as temps rise above zero for the first time in weeks, as opposed to last year when there was perpetual sunshine during the freezing weather, the sun hasn’t been out much..
David’s ski trip with the school seems to have been a great success and he has learnt new techniques which I might never master, including going down some red slopes! It was great to follow the news on the school’s website at http://www.gbswauterbos.be. Hopefully when everyone is back, they will post some photographs on the site too.
